Tromsø Jazz Festival 2017 is receiving public financial support from the Troms County Council Business Development Fund, Tromsø Municipal Council, Troms County Council, Sparebank 1 Nord Norge «Kulturnæringsstiftelsen» and Arts Council Norway.

Coop Nord - A grocery business owned by approximately 89,000 members. Coop Nord is the 5th largest cooperative company in Norway. With a turnover of about NOK 3 billion in 2015 and approx. 1,000 employees, Coop Nord is one of the largest companies in Northern Norway. We are extremely grateful that Coop Nord supplies the festival with food for the volunteers and helps us promote our concerts.

Macks Ølbryggeri - The northernmost brewey in the world. The brewey was founded in 1877 by Ludwig Markus Mack. Mack is the fourth largest brewey in Norway, and is probably one of the strongest brands from Northern Norway. Mack's main production is located in Nordkjosbotn, approximately 70 km from Tromsø. Mack's historical sites in Tromsø houses the administration, the beer shop Kjeller 5, the legendary pub Ølhallen and Mack Microbrewery. Mack is sponsoring the volunteers with Arctic Water.

KulturHuset i Tromsø – Tromsø’s mots important venue for performing arts and Norway’s very first “kulturhus” (cultural centre)! KulturHuset consists of 3 scenes (Hovedscenen, Verkstedet and Lillescenen), a café (Café Sånn) and a foyer (Forum). We are delighted to continue our collaboration with KulturHuset where five of this year’s concerts will be held during the festival.

Hildr Gastro Bar – In pleasant premises and surroundings in the northern part of downtown you’ll discover the city’s most exciting gourmet destination, regardless of whether you are in search of a filling meal or a locally produced beer. Hildr is located beside Tromsø’s oldest garden, and a back yard which will be filled with both concerts and our very own Jazz Hub Jam Saturday 12th of August.

Studentsamfunnet Driv - Studentsamfunnet Driv is owned by Norges Arktiske Studentsamskipnad and is run on voluntary basis by students at the University of Tromsø. The concert rate at Driv is one of the higher ones in Norway, and the SNN Scenen is one of the largest music stages in Tromsø. We’re very happy to present the Norwegian black jazz band Shining at Driv.

Bryggejentene i Ersfjorden - Bryggejentene AS started as a collaboration between two sisters in law, both with a burning passion for interior, clothing, children's toys, locally produced food and beverage. This year the Kick Off concert will be held at Bryggejentene in Ersfjorden not far from Tromsø.

Verdensteatret - Verdensteatret in Tromsø is Northern Europe's oldest cinema, after Parkteater Scene in Oslo, which is still in operation. The cinema was opened in June 1916. It is run by Tromsø International Film Festival and functions as a cinema with daily movie shows and a nice café. The cinema's unique atmosphere and acoustics makes it popular as a concert venue too.
The sami duo LEAGUS will be playing at Verdensteatret 11th of August.

Tromsø Jazzklubb - Nordnorsk Jazzsenter's county scene in Troms. The jazz club wants to make Tromsø a better city to live in by presenting a wide, varied and exciting jazz program. They want to develop the club's offerings by making it an attractive member society and create a nice jazz environment as well as giving the audience good concerts. The concert with Helge Lien Trio is a collaboration between Tromsø Jazzfestival and Tromsø Jazzklubb.

Audionor - Since its establishment in 1995, Audionor has grown to become one of the largest live audio providers in Northern Norway, handling everything from small events to larger festivals. We are proud to have them on the team!

Smarthotel Tromsø - Opened early in 2013, is centrally located in Tromsø city center. Smarthotel offers affordable, high-quality rooms with nordic interior design. Our artists will be staying at Smarthotel Tromsø during this year’s festival.
