Hanne Hukkelberg is one of Norway's most vital and distinctive artists. She has delivered quality music to music lovers worldwide for a number of years, having mastered the art of moving seamlessly between genres with her personal sound - be it electronic knit-pop accompanied by rainy weather, lyrical post rock with freezer and oven streams, or experimental Indie with cutlery synth.
Herkules is a jazz quintet consisting of students from the Conservatory of Music in Tromsø. All members are active songwriters, which results in a unique and varied sound. During the last months Herkules has performed at Nordlysfestivalen and Jazznatt.
Aleksander Kostopoulos is known as one of northern Norway's most active musicians. Primarily for his drumming and percussion with artists like Mari Boine, Adjagas, Moddi, Marthe Valle, ISÁK and the rock duo Pil & Bue. Now, for the first time, Kostopoulos also takes on song writing and vocals with the solo debut «Faleo».
A true prodigy - Cory Henry did his first show at the Apollo at the age of six. His energetic and impressive organ and synthesizer skills has landed him gigs and collaborations with artist like Bruce Springsteen, The Roots, P Diddy and Kirk Franklin.

We are excited to present Dj Runther, one of Tromsø's most eager producers. Runther is deeply influenced by jazzy, suggestive beats. He has his own record label that has already gained recognition nationally and internationally.
Ola Kvernberg's Steamdome first became a collaborative project with Moldejazz and the Trondheim Jazz Festival in 2016. Over the last few years it has evolved into Kvernberg's main musical project. The first album was released on Grappa Music Publishing on December 1, 2017 and have received recognition from the music press that is rarely given to instrumental albums like this.
JUNO has its origins from the well-renowned jazz line at NTNU, and plays original compositions that explore the boundaries between free and arranged music. The unusual crew gives the music a distinctive touch, in the landscape among rhythmic motives and organic interaction, complexity and captivating playfulness combine.
Although Tromsø is far from Rio de Janeiro, Marit Sandvik & Nova Onda embraces the Brazilian music tradition and gives it its own "nova onda" expression, playful and personal.
The band, established in 2013, is now out with its first full-length album, FLOR. The music is a mix of own original compositions and melodies derived from Brazil's rich flora. Their own songs with northern Norwegian lyrics find their natural place in this landscape, and thus, MS & NO appears as a distinctive band.
In 2017 the Norwegian artist queen Wenche Myhre celebrated her 70th birthday! The event was celebrated with a solid show in Oslo Spektrum, which was sold out shortly after the tickets were put up for sale.
We are pleased to finally have Wenche in Tromsø! She will collaborate with Tromsø Storband under the leadership of the Swedish composer and organizer Anders Eljas. It will be an eventful journey when the legendary artist summarizes her career in a fabulous way.
